The first opera of our double bill at the De La Warr Pavilion was a great success, the performances were wonderful, and everyone on our Tour trip enjoyed the evening.
Here’s what our party said about their experience:
” An evening of tragic love in the De La Warr, top and tailed with a friendly journey to and fro with Simon. Sung by a Ukrainian company with wonderful solos and arias – perfect for this story. Ending with a rousing Ukrainian national anthem which affected us as much as the opera had done. And wonderful value for an art form which can be so excluding – with the double bill and return trip for two to La Traviata in two months for less than the price of one poor seat at the ENO and half a poor seat (perhaps) at Covent Garden.” Paul S
