PRICING

With the cost of living as it is, we know accessing cultural events is hard.  We want to ensure our audiences are as diverse as the events we put on.

For most of our events you’ll be able to choose a price we hope works best for your financial situation. We will not ask for any proof of eligibility but will ask for your honesty as the scheme is only made possible by RAP’s limited reserves (reserves built with generous sponsorship of our neighbours and local businesses). Pay what you can pricing. Basically, choose the price that works best for you – no questions asked!

In addition, for some events we may make free tickets available for certain groups in our community. Only the RAP Treasurer will be able to see who pays what; any reports used by the Committee will be anonymised. The pricing structure looks like this:

  • A recommended ticket price – for anyone who has access to a regular income and can comfortably afford the recommended ticket price
  • A member, patron and partners ticket price – a benefit for our supporters
  • A reduced ticket price – for anyone who has access to a regular income and have some disposable income but would normally select a concession rate due to their age or personal circumstances
  • A further reduced price – for anyone who has access to income but it is low and unstable and they worry about meeting their own or their family’s basic needs
  • A lowest price – for anyone who is unemployed, underemployed, or unable to work and worry regularly about meeting their own or their family’s basic needs. We hope this pricing makes our events more accessible to as many people as possible in the local area
