PARTNERS

RAP was established as and remains an informal partnership. Any local not-for-profit organisation that shares our aims may join the Partnership at an Annual General Meeting; there is no cost associated with partnership.

Partners may include: a local government body; another unincorporated association; a charitable trust; a charitable incorporated organisation; a company limited by guarantee; a charitable company; a community interest company; a community benefit society; a cooperative society.

Partners help us meet our aim by contributing skills, labour or resources. We promote and support each other whenever we can. Our partners in 2025 / 26 are:

blackShed www.theblackshedgallery.org.uk

blackShed is a respected gallery with a reputation as a distinctive, diverse contemporary art space with a focus on artist lead projects and exhibitions. The gallery, a Community Interest Company, has a strong and established relationship with a number of highly regarded partners, including Hastings Museum, Hastings Contemporary, De La Warr Pavilion, Project Artworks, the Towner Gallery as well as RAP.

blackShed’s aims match RAP’s aims closely – the gallery aims to develop and support the regional artist based community, bringing high quality artwork, through direct inclusion, to a rural audience where social-economic inequalities preclude and prejudice participation in the visual arts.
